The calls we get about boats
Any one of these is worth a phone call. Most of them are quicker and cheaper to fix before something else fails with them.
- Motor will not crank, or cranks slowly
- Batteries flat after a weekend on the water
- Nav lights, deck lights or cabin lights not working
- Bilge pump or float switch not cutting in
- Sounder, radio or chart plotter losing power
- Corroded terminals, green wire and crumbling joins
- A new accessory that needs wiring in properly
- Charging system not putting anything back in

At the pen or on the trailer
Marine electrical work is easier done where the boat already sits. On the trailer at home is usually the simplest job of the lot.
Have this ready when you call
- Length and make of the boat
- Outboard or inboard, and roughly what year
- What is not working, and whether it ever worked
- Where the boat is, and whether we can get a van near it

-
Batteries and charging
Cranking and house batteries, isolators, dual systems, chargers and charge circuits.
-
Lighting
Navigation, deck, cabin and underwater lighting.
-
General servicing
Going over the electrical side of a boat before a season, a trip or a sale.

How soon can you get to me?
Call and you will get an answer straight away. If you send the form instead, we will usually come back to you within a couple of hours during the working day. When we can be there depends on where the vehicle is and what is already booked, so ring and we will tell you the first time we have.
Do I have to bring the vehicle to a workshop?
No. That is the point of the business. We come to your home, your work, the roadside, a yard or wherever the vehicle, boat, van or machine is sitting, and do the work there.
Do you work on boats and caravans as well as cars?
Yes. Cars, utes, 4WDs, vans, boats, caravans, trucks and plant equipment. Auto electrical, marine electrical and 12V systems are the same trade.
